我国杰出的酸洗缓蚀技术研究专家、北京化工大学教授魏刚先生，因病医治无效，于2017年6月4日在北京逝世，享年73岁。
魏刚先生生于1944年， 西安市临潼区人。1967年毕业于兰州大学化学系, 曾任化工部化机院缓蚀技术研究所所长，主要从事材料腐蚀与防护方面的科研工作，并长期从事水污染防治的教学与科研工作，博士生导师，三次获得国家科技奖。曾任职中国腐蚀与防护学会技术委员会副主任、中国工业清洗协会专家委员会专家、中国锅炉水处理协会技术委员会委员、北京化工大学金属表面工程系主任、材料保护研究所所长、水处理研究中心主任、环境工程中心副主任。魏刚先生一生曾获得多项国家和省部级奖励。2014年10月，魏刚先生获得由中国工业清洗协会颁发的中国工业清洗终身成就奖。
魏刚先生的一生是奋斗的一生，他用尽毕生精力为科研事业而努力，他转战南北，服从国家需求，从不考虑是否符合自己的专业。敬业的工作态度是他事业成功的主要因素，他用锐意进取的精神，在金属防腐蚀、化学清洗技术、水污染防治方面取得了非凡的成就。198年，魏刚先生所在的科研团队通过对酸腐蚀与防护机理的研究，发现并提出了“环境协同效应”及其作用机理，研制出对金属在14种酸中均能起高效缓蚀作用的Lan-826酸洗缓蚀技术。酸洗缓蚀技术简化了化学清洗工艺，提高了工程的安全性，减少了清洗过程中的废水量，大大拓宽了工业清洗技术的应用范围，使中国的酸洗缓蚀技术达到世界领先水平，为工业清洗行业的发展提供了重要的技术支撑。

Wei Gang, a professor of Beijing University of Chemical Technology and professor of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, died in June 4, 2017 at the age of 73.
Mr. Wei Gang was born in 1944, a person from Lintong District, Xi’an. 1967 graduated from the Chemistry Department of Lanzhou University, a former Chemical Machine Institute of Ministry of Chemical Industry Research Institute of corrosion inhibition technology, mainly engaged in corrosion and protection of materials research, teaching and research work and engaged in the prevention and control of water pollution, doctoral tutor, won three national science and technology award. Chinese served Society for corrosion and protection technology, deputy director of the Committee China Cleaning Industry Association Expert Committee, China Association of boiler water treatment technology committee, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, director of the Department of Metal Surface Engineering Research Institute of material protection, water treatment research center director, deputy director of the center for environmental engineering. Mr. Wei Gang has been awarded a number of national and provincial awards throughout his life. In October 2014, Mr. Wei Gang was awarded the lifetime achievement award of China industrial cleaning issued by the China Industrial Cleaning Association.
Mr. Wei Gang’s life is a lifetime of struggle. He spent all his life to work hard for his research career. He fought in the north and south, obedience to the needs of the state, and never considered whether he accords with his major. A dedicated work attitude is the main factor of his career success. He has made remarkable achievements in metal corrosion prevention, chemical cleaning technology and water pollution prevention and control with his enterprising spirit. In the past 198 years, the research team of Mr. Wei Gang discovered and put forward the “environmental synergy effect” and its action mechanism by studying the mechanism of acid corrosion and protection, and developed the Lan-826 pickling corrosion inhibition technology for all metals in the 14 acids. Corrosion inhibition technology simplifies the chemical cleaning process, improve the safety of the project, reduce the waste water in the cleaning process, greatly broadens the scope of application of industrial cleaning technology, the China pickling corrosion technology has reached the world leading level, provides important technical support for the development of industrial cleaning industry.
